New design Describe what you're building and list the parts it holds. Forge compiles a 3D-printable model into your Studio — every input stays editable, and every change is a new version you can compare and refine.
Describe your design (or just list components below) This becomes your project's prompt — you can edit it any time in the workspace and recompile. Ground it with your files (all optional) PCB file A KiCAD .kicad_pcb or .stepexport lands connector cutouts exactly where your board's connectors sit. A Gerber .zip works too (outline + drills). Panel or layout image A straight-on photo, mockup, or labeled sketch — we read the relative layout (what goes where). Component datasheet A part's datasheet (PDF or image) — we read the measured body, mounting holes, and connectors, and mount it with real standoffs. You can add more datasheets later in the workspace. Create design The first build takes about 30–60 seconds — you'll watch it land in your workspace.
