Parcel AMR
A small autonomous robot that carries parcels between two points on a warehouse floor, so staff don’t have to walk them.
Built by AMEES LCU, Lead city University Ibadan
The problem
In small warehouses and fulfilment floors in Lagos, staff carry parcels by hand from the packing area to the dispatch bay, all day, on the same few routes. It’s slow, it ties up people who should be packing, and parcels get delayed or taken to the wrong bay. Industrial AMRs exist, but they’re built and priced for big facilities, so a small operator can’t use one.
Who it is for
Small e-commerce merchants in Nigeria, and the warehouse and fulfilment operators who handle their parcels.
