C-Transit

Tap and pay contactless payment device for campus shuttles that works even when it’s offline

Built by Spark, FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY MINNA

The problem

Getting a ride should be simple, but passengers often struggle with cash, finding change, confirming transfers, and resolving payment disputes. Poor internet connectivity can make payments even harder. Drivers deal with cash handling and uncertain payments, while vehicle owners struggle to track trips, monitor earnings, and know how their vehicles are being used.

Who it is for

Students: Easier, more convenient ride payments. Drivers: Less cash handling, fewer payment disputes, and clearer transaction records. Vehicle Owners: Better visibility into trips, vehicle usage, and earnings.
