The problem
Lecturers at RUN waste up to 15 minutes of limited lecture windows passing around manual paper attendance logs that suffer from extensive student proxy signing and lack of proper handling, which makes the attendance sheet messy and the data un-reliable because it has been aldutrated.

• We are procurement-sourcing the core hardware components (the ESP32-S3 microcontroller and the RC522 RFID reader) from local electronics hubs and setting up our baseline Arduino IDE coding environment to prepare for our First Power-On bench test milestone.
